The Verified Event Chain

Trust that can't be faked

Six verification steps stand between an event and a review. Both the host and the professional have to confirm it happened. No fake reviews, no paid placements — just earned trust.

The Verified Event Chain

Every review travels through all six of these. There are no shortcuts, and no way to enter partway through.

  1. Create your event

    Host action

The host creates an event with the date, venue and event type. It starts in a pending state, visible only to the professionals they choose to invite.

Every event type is supported — weddings, corporate events, birthdays, galas, non-profit fundraisers and private parties.

    Event status: pending

  2. Tag your vendors

    Host action

The host tags the professionals working the event — DJs, photographers, caterers, florists. Each receives a formal invitation to confirm their participation.

Multiple professionals can be tagged across different categories. Each gets a separate confirmation request.

    Invitations sent

  3. Vendors confirm

    Pro action

Each professional reviews the invitation and confirms. Both parties are now formally linked to the event — a verified connection established before the event has even happened.

This pre-event confirmation is what separates EventConnective from every other platform. The link exists before money changes hands.

    Both parties linked

  4. Event completed

    Host action

After the date passes, the host marks the event complete, confirming it actually took place. No event means no verification, and therefore no review.

Hosts have a 30-day window after the event date. Events not marked complete cannot progress through the chain.

    Event status: completed

  5. Host verifies vendors

    Host action

The host confirms that each professional actually performed the services they were booked for. This is what stops a pro claiming an event they did not work.

If a professional did not show or did not deliver, the host flags it here. That opens a dispute and blocks the event from producing a review.

    Services confirmed

  6. Fully verified — reviews unlock

    Both parties

The professional confirms their own participation and the chain closes. Trust scores update, badges are awarded, and both sides can finally write a review.

Reviews written at this stage carry a permanent Verified Event badge with a chain ID. They cannot be removed by the professional or bought away by a competitor.

Two paths, one platform

What it looks like from your side

Whether you are planning an event or building a career, here is the sequence you actually experience.

For hostsplanning a wedding, party or corporate event

  1. Create a free account

    2 minutes

No credit card, no commitment. Hosts never pay to use EventConnective.

  2. Post your event

    Date, type, location

Add the details and the categories of professional you still need.

  3. Browse verified pros — or invite your own

    Search or invite

Every professional in the directory has been vetted. Already have a vendor you love who is not on the platform? Invite them to your event chain so it can still be fully verified.

  4. Message and book

    Direct, no middleman

Discuss the event, schedule a consultation and lock in participation. Agree terms and payment directly with each professional before you confirm.

  5. Leave verified reviews

    After the event

Once the chain closes, write a review that is permanently attached to a real event — and read others that are too.

For professionalsbuilding a verified track record

  1. Apply and get vetted

    Human review

Submit past client reviews, peer endorsements and any credentials you hold. Every application is reviewed by a person before it goes live.

  2. Build your profile

    Free, while private

Your profile stays invisible to hosts until you upgrade — time to collect verified reviews and endorsements before your first day in search.

  3. Go live in search

    $19 / month

Appear in host searches with a Verified Pro badge. No commission, no booking fee, no paid placement.

  4. Confirm and deliver

    Pro action

Accept event invitations, do the work, and confirm your participation afterwards to close the chain.

  5. Earn a record nobody can take

    Permanent

Verified events, reviews and endorsements accumulate into a track record that belongs to you and follows you.

Transparency first

How trust tiers are earned

Every professional carries a tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum — built from their verified record. These are the factors and their weight.

  • Host reviewsMost important
  • Reliability — attendance, responsiveness, no cancellationsMost important
  • Pro endorsements from verified co-workers onlyHigh impact
  • Verified events completedHigh impact
  • Achievement badgesSupporting
  • Recent activity and account standingSupporting

The exact formula stays private, so it cannot be gamed. The factors are published so you know what is being measured — the only route to Gold or Platinum is real, consistent, reliable work at real events.

Why other platforms fail

Where the difference actually is

Most review platforms let anyone leave a review, whether or not they hired the professional. That produces fake five-stars, competitor sabotage, and a market where the advertising budget beats the craft.

Questions

Everything else you might ask

  • What is the Verified Event Chain?

A six-step process that ensures every review is backed by a real, confirmed event. Both the host and the professional must confirm the event took place before either can write a review.

  • How long does verification take?

The pre-event steps happen on your own timeline. Post-event verification typically takes two to five days as both parties confirm. You have a 30-day window after the event date.

  • What happens if a professional doesn't show up?

At step five you flag that services were not performed. That opens a dispute, blocks any verified review from that event, and records the incident on the professional's profile pending investigation.

  • Can a professional buy a better ranking?

No. Position is determined entirely by verified events, review quality, trust score and recency. We do not sell placement, promoted spots or boosted visibility, and we have no plans to.

  • Is it really free for hosts?

Yes, completely. Creating an account, searching, messaging, creating events and leaving reviews are all free for hosts. Professionals pay a flat subscription for search visibility and business tools.

  • How do pro endorsements work?

After two professionals work the same verified event, they can endorse each other. You can only endorse someone you have shared a verified event with, so cold endorsements are impossible.

  • What does vetting involve?

The application collects verified client reviews, peer endorsements from professionals you have worked with, and any credentials you hold. A member of our team reviews every application before the profile goes live.

  • Can I use EventConnective for any type of event?

Yes. Weddings, corporate events, birthdays, galas, non-profit fundraisers, conferences, private parties — if it needs professionals, it is supported.
